This site is a tribute to our mum, Mrs Azra Abid, who was born in India on August 01, 1940. She is much loved and will always be remembered by her children, grand children and great grand children.

Every year, over 300,000 people are diagnosed with cancer in the UK, facing tough questions, exhausting treatment and difficult emotions. These challenges affect not only those with cancer, but their family and friends, too.

Maggie’s is there for anyone and everyone affected by cancer, and they offered mum a programme of support to help strengthen her physical and emotional wellbeing during her radiotherapy treatments.

Visiting Maggie's became a staple for mum and she received immense love and support from the staff. She felt strongly we should donate to Maggie's to help others like her gain support and strength to cope with cancer.
