This Tribute is supporting Maggie's Centres. Visiting Maggie's gave Mum the emotional support to help her cope with the Radiotherapy treatment. Living with cancer can sometimes be a lonely experience despite having family surrounding and caring for the individual. Maggie's provided mum a safe place for her to talk openly about her cancer and for the family to seek help in how to help our mother. It is a wonderful and calming environment with trained specialists who provided endless cups of tea, a comforting environment and a friendly face to talk to. We need more centres like Maggie's, more specialists helping others and their families cope with cancer, and providing an environment for those with cancer a friendly and kind hearted support. Maggie's at Charing Cross Hospital was instrumental in helping mum and if you want to help others like our mum then please make a donation.
